I've been a full-time free-lance illustrator for more than thirty-five years, working for a variety of magazine and book publishers in both the USA and the UK, as well as in advertising and design. The first two gallery pages give an overall impression of the range of work I've undertaken (Architectural, Business, Comic, Editorial, Portraits, etc), then there are two pages of drawings for two of Felix Dennis's very popular books of poetry. After that are two pages of work in the specific areas of book covers and advertising/design, followed by a page of material from two recent best-sellers which I illustrated.
Finally, there's a page of magazine covers dating back to the beginning of my career, and most from the 1970's and 80's. I'd like to thank in particular Martin Colyer (art editor of The Listener) and Chris Jones (of the New Scientist) for all the commissions they gave me at that time.
